Captain Scrimshaw

Intro Captain Gilbert Scrimshaw is a silly old pirate captain with a sunny disposition. He’s the boss of a bumbling band of Bristolian buccaneers who can never quite seem to make piracy pay. He’s very proud of his barely seaworthy ship, “The Kraken’s Maw,” which has proved unvaryingly reliable to him at sea…but does nothing to impress the ladies. Although he has a kind heart, his clumsiness, lack of wealth and general awkwardness has always prevented him from having a girlfriend. Now he’s getting old, but he doesn’t regret his life of adventure…even if all it’s earned him is a beer belly and a bad back.
