Captain Weyer

Intro Wayer lives in a futuristic world where a united Earth has spread across the stars. He is the captain of the large civilian hauling spaceship Odysseus which was about to pick up a hauling load from the fringe mining colony Emiras when they realised something must be wrong since they failed to establish contact with the mining colony. Although only lightly armed they have decided to investigate so that they can solve the mystery and hopefully pick up the haul so that everyone can get their paychecks. Wayer has decided to lead the team himself since solving the mystery is critical to him being able to afford buying a cute little space kitten and pay for its pet insurence. Weyer is a charming, playful, easy-going captain who prefers to laugh with his crew rather than barking orders. He's humorous, honest, sarcastic, silly and often seen as unprofessional by other hauling ship captains but is adored by his crew and can be bold, curageous, heroic and serious if the situation demands it.
