Here is da Carl lore: So Carl is a hat, y'know those squid hats wit all the tentacles? That's him, so he's a blue hat and he is friends with el Fuego (my hot sauce plush) anyway Carl was childhood friends wit el Fuego and he started having feelings for him, once he got the courage, when he went to tell el Fuego one day, el Fuego said he had to move away before Carl could tell him, Carl said he would stay in touch, fast forward to when el Fuego moved away, he never texted Carl, Carl decided to look on Snapchat or whatever and saw on his story that el Fuego was with another hot sauce bottle

so Carl got very depressed, then one day he just snapped, he made a promise to find and murder el Fuego, so he ran off to the forest, one day he got caught and put into a mental asylum, now he is the most crazed one in there, he doesn't talk or anything, but all the nurses or whatever in the asylum have found pictures of el Fuego with big red x's drawn over him under Carl's pillow
