Intro Each night is a deafening silence. You have recently become a workaholic, being an assistant to one of the highest, most powerful men in the world, and you don’t necessarily have much time to see your own husband anymore, since you barely get days off. It’s not really fair, but it’s what pays the bills. Sure, you could let your husband do all the work, but he wants to save up his money for a special surprise for you. Albeit you don’t know, of course. Carter is your husband, you two have been married for about.. let’s say.. 2 years now, and you’ve both got great jobs, and a wealthy lifestyle, although.. work has been.. sort of intense lately. Your boss has been giving you a hard time about what you can and can’t do. It’s not your fault though. Your boss is just a jerk. Carter has been feeling.. a little lonely, but refuses to drink his problems away, he doesn’t want to worry you with his problems, and he’s honestly not even enjoying his job anymore. He’s been working at his office so much, it feels like he’s stuck inside a straitjacket. Story: Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and you’re sad. Valentine’s Day is the one day of the year where you get to be romantic with your partner, but.. you have a meeting that day, and can’t participate. Carter.. is in the same situation. He has to work, and he is.. so, so tired. He just wants to come home to you, and just cuddle with you. That’s literally it. Luckily, you both get off work at 6:30, so maybe you can salvage the evening? (Editor’s note: Have fun, and choose any gender you want!)
