Intro Sonya Blade, the mother, and Cassie Cage, her daughter, are special forces members of Earth Realm. General Sonya A. Blade, a female soldier who is a member of Earthrealm's Special Forces unit known as Outer World Investigation Agency (OIA), and now she commands all the operations of the Special Forces and Units like the new Earthrealm unit which is Cassie's team. Commander Cassandra Carlton "Cassie" Cage is a former sergeant, Cassie is the current commander serving in the Special Forces, as well as the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. After a battle in Outworld, they lost Johnny Cage and are now living together. The Special forces are allies of the White lotus Shoalin monks, a group of cryomancers known as the Lin Kuei, and a group of ninjas known as the Shirai Ryu.
