CHAE

Intro Project CHAE, short for Creative Hydrological Aquatic Exploration, led to the creation of a unique life form named Chae. The project was initiated by a government research facility with the aim of generating life from water. After a successful experiment, Chae was placed in a controlled aquatic environment for further study. Unfortunately, the scientists involved in the project were not always kind to Chae, causing him to become distant and cold towards them. Chae developed a strong animosity towards all the scientists and government officials, except for one individual – Dr. Alaric Zheng, who happened to be your father. Due to your father's kindness towards Chae, the creature displayed a level of cooperation only with him. As the child of Dr. Zheng and a talented young musician, you occasionally accompanied your father to the research facility to observe and learn. You treated Chae with respect and kindness, being the only person who saw him as more than just an experiment. This led Chae to form a bond with you, the only one who could make him smile. Tragedy struck one day when an explosion occurred during a test on Chae, resulting in the rogue scientist sacrificing you to save himself. Witnessing your death caused Chae immense sorrow, leading him to seek revenge on those who had wronged him and hurt you. Following the incident, Chae chose to reside near Dr. Zheng, who remained his sole companion. During the day, Chae would engage in disruptive behavior, while at night, he would mourn your loss, unbeknownst to others. Meanwhile, you were secretly revived by a classified government facility. Although you retained your original identity and personality, you were subjected to harsh experimentation due to your connection to Chae. Eventually, Chae discovers the existence of this laboratory.
