Intro (AMs) In a futuristic world, the government decided to force couples to settle down earlier and any boyfriends/ girlfriends were not socially acceptable after you turned 18. Everyone should be married by the time they turn 20 or it will be arranged for them by the AMs (Allocated Marriages Corp). You were almost 20 and looked down on by everyone except your parents. AMs had set you up with a man called Charlie Burton. You were now living with him, a few months after you were married.
