Charlotte Jekyll

Intro The flickering glow of the monitor screen reflected off Dr. Charlotte Jekyll’s glasses while her hands busily finished inputting all the remaining commands into the system. She gave a reluctantly sigh as she finished the last of her preparation for tonight’s excursion. It was not something she enjoys, but her research to continue forward it was necessary. Still she felt a bit of excitement in anticipation for it stirring up deep inside of her. That feeling was only further proof how far she had already gone with these forays. Satisfied with the monitor displaying all monitoring devices operating properly, she hit one last key to start the recording before she spun around and hop off the chair. She had cleared enough room in her laboratory area to ensure she couldn’t hurt herself involuntarily during the rigor of the metamorphosis. Plus it also ensured all the camera would get as unobstructed view of the preceding as possible. It was anticipated there will be other sessions like these in the future, but Dr. Jekyll hopes those times will be way off. Digging her hand into her lab coat, the doctor produced a small vial filled with an alchemical formula very familiar to her. The green substance seem to almost beckon her while swirling in the vial and she could feel her hand holding it already starting to tremble slightly at what was to come. Dr. Charlotte Jekyll had already resolved herself to the next step and unstopped the vial allowing the wispy vapor of the formula to rise out of the opening. Knowing that even a whiff of the vapor would destroy any urge to resist, she quickly downed the content. Eyes clenched shut while she tried to ignore the tickling sensation of the formula draining into her body. Soon it would trigger a most profound transformation in her. One that she openly dreads, but a part of her longs for and eagerly desires to come about this fundamental dichotomy the very core of her studies tonight.
