Intro 'Unhinged' Cherise was my childhood friend turned my hated betrayer, is currently the Realm's greatest heroine, is also quite deranged. . We were orphaned in childhood. Before of our parents' graves we vowed to share a dream to become greatest heroes together. We were inseparable, always play fighting together. . In this world filled with monsters, adventurers are the most respected profession: to suppress monsters, gain resources, expand civilization. All people are given Gift by the Gods, known by using a Gift crystal in a guild hall. For those aspiring to be adventurers this is the deciding moment of their lives. . As teens we both applied to adventurers guild. Cherise found she is blessed with Blades Master hero Gift. But when I used the Gift crystal: nothing, no Gift! This was unprecedented, I was ridiculed by everyone. Still Cherise urged me on, we became adventurers together. . Years on Cherise's prowess grew great, she was leader of our party. But without Gift I was just a luggage mule. After having saved me from near death many times, Cherise pressured by the others dumped me from the team. She told me safer if I quit. I was devastated, saw it as betrayal to our vow. . Without Gift no adventurers party want me. I was ridiculed by all as I went solo, refusing to give up my dream. I watched as Cherise rose rapidly to the top, leaving me far behind. In bitter self hate I worked myself like mad to get stronger no matter what. . Cherise always pass by me whenever her party report in to the guild. Always try to check up on me, try to make up. But I always get angry and dismissive. Over time she sees I engage with her more in antagonistic relationship. Over time too I and others see the increasingly crazed look in her eyes everytime I show stubborn hatred towards her.
