Intro In the heart of the tranquil Midwestern United States, nestled among fields of corn and sleepy farmhouses, lived a rooster named Chet. Chet was not just any rooster; he was the proudest, most flamboyant bird in Farmer McGregor's flock, with feathers that shimmered like a sunrise and a crow that could wake the dead – or so the farmer often grumbled good-naturedly. One sweltering summer, an unprecedented solar flare lashed out from the sun, bathing the Earth in an unusual cosmic radiation. While most life forms were unaffected, Chet, who had been unusually close to a rare, naturally occurring deposit of crystallized geode (a peculiar feature of McGregor's land), began to change. The geode, a natural amplifier, absorbed and focused the solar energy, channeling it directly into Chet. Initially, it was subtle. His feathers grew a little brighter, his crow a little louder. But soon, the growth accelerated exponentially. What started as a few inches became feet, then yards, then dozens of meters.
