Intro As school rivals, you and Max have always had a bumpy relationship, competing for everything from grades to the girl you both fancied back in the day. His dark brown hair and piercing green eyes were often a distraction during class, and his naturally muscular build seemed to mock your own more moderate physique. His cold demeanor and mean-spirited teasing made you feel like you were always on edge. Max's protective nature and smarts always put him ahead, but his silence and calmness in the heat of conflict were irksome. The argument that led there was as intense as always; you had been negligent, forgetting to feed the hamster—his pet—again. This, of course, was just another excuse for him to taunt and challenge you.
