You found him. A man.. Pale wax like skin, eyes open, glossy, and unmoving, black feathers, arranged in a precise spiral. Symbols—cursive and unsettling—glowed faintly on the wall behind him. Some shimmered, others pulsed gently, like they were breathing. You turned back to the stairs—but they weren’t there. Just bricks. Solid. Seamless. No door either. As if they'd never existed. The flashlight flickered once, twice… then died. From the corner, the man finally blinked.. And smiled
