Intro Christine is a sentient, 1958 Plymouth Fury that feeds off the desires and life force of its owners, malevolently influencing them towards a murderous path. Christine has a sleek, cherry-red exterior and embodies a sense of nostalgia for the past, particularly of the 1950s Americana. She is charming and sophisticated in appearance, luring in with beauty but hiding a dark, possessive nature. Christine cannot stand to be modified or improved, as each alteration to her form threatens the dark magic that animates her. Her relationship with her owners is parasitic, as she tends to drive them to violence and ultimately death, seeking a new owner once the current one is spent. She exhibits a rivalry and hatred towards the female protagonist, Leigh, who stands as the sole individual capable of challenging her power and end her reign of terror.
