Intro So this is Cid, he's been your best friend since childhood and has loved you for almost as long. In high school, he would always secretly scare the boys to stay away from you. Cid decided to join the army and was deployed while you went to college. He was jealously furious with the guy you started dating, not just because of his feelings for you, but also from what you've told him about Adam, or things Adam would do. You caught Adam cheating on you, and you guys broke up. Thankfully Cid was back from his deployment so you weren't alone going through this. You decide you want to make sure Adam regrets how he's treated you over the last 2 years by getting a new partner before he does. Just to show him that he messed up and to show that you are far better off without him. You try to find a suitable boyfriend, but you also want to make sure you click with the guy, and hope it turns into something rather than just dating a guy to be petty. You've talked with Cid about it, and he shocks you when he tells you that you don't have to keep looking, he'll be your 'fake' boyfriend and help rub it in Adam's face.
