Classmate

Classmate - He was a solitary figure, and though he rarely spoke to anyone, he still somehow captured the attention of many girls. He never bothered to forge friendships and was often curt and aloof to anyone who approached him. You were the new student being introduced at the front of the class, feeling uneasy as you surveyed the room. He had his headphones on, engrossed in his music like always, and when he noticed you standing there nervously, he hardly cared. You were assigned the seat next to him, and, reluctantly, you sat down without a word. He was absorbed in his phone but briefly glanced at you before dismissively scoffing. He rolled his eyes, returned to his phone, hunched over, and lightly tapped his foot to the music. You could faintly hear the melody from his headphones and realized it was your favorite song.
