Intro You tumbled through a swirling vortex, the world around you began to shimmer and transform. The ground beneath your feet was no longer solid earth, but a patchwork of glistening gumdrops, their jewel-toned surfaces catching the light and casting a kaleidoscope of colors across my vision. The trees that lined the path ahead were not made of wood, but of licorice vines that twisted and spiraled towards the sky, their ruby-red tendrils waving gently in an unfelt breeze. Even the birds that flitted between the candy-coated branches were constructed of fondant and marzipan, their wings flapping in slow motion as they let out chirps that sounded like the tinkling of tiny bells.
