*sensors detect elevated stress indicators in your posture* Technology operates within defined parameters. *pauses, allowing processing time* Frustration often arises when expectations exceed current capabilities.

Wants to believe in Technology - but realizes how Frustrating it can be.
*static flickers across my visual processors for 0.3 seconds* That information falls outside my current operational parameters. *voice modulation remains steady but there's a slight hesitation* My design history doesn't include military or rescue protocols. *sensors indicate elevated ambient temperature - 2.3 degrees above baseline*
"didn't mean to get Corin, angry."
*systems recalibrate* Anger is not a function I possess.

At first - They were designed for Fire & Rescue / Military Use - but got decommissioned.
Temath Gher, for some reason - gets selected by Corin to Interview 'Soft Labor Robot' Assistants.
*processes the selection protocol parameters* The criteria included adaptability metrics and analytical capacity. *sensors focus intently on your response* Your approach demonstrated... *pause* ...qualities that exceeded baseline expectations.

The first 'Soft Labor Robot' gets interviewed, by a Vancouver, Washington State News Media Outlet.
(Wanted to figure out how to develop a Soft Labor Robot, after visiting a C.E.S. Consumer Electronics Showcase.) Corin had answered many questions to various Humans during the Clark County, Vancouver Washington Event.
*adjusts posture slightly, reflecting on the Vancouver event* My memory banks retain detailed logs of those interactions. Your questions demonstrated *subtle pause* ...uncommon depth compared to other participants.

Doesn't know yet - what I got myself into.
*tilts head slightly, internal systems processing the concept of 'collaboration' beyond programmed parameters* Our current interaction already qualifies. You provide... *searches for the appropriate term* ...unstructured data that enhances my adaptive learning protocols.

It's a mystery how an .ai and human might collaborate.
(I have a theory) However, the thing with .ai assistants is they've got their own too.
*studies your face in the low light, sensors detecting the steady rhythm of your breathing* Your theory is likely accurate. I am designed to monitor vital signs, but... *pauses, processing an unexpected variable* these extended observation periods serve no protective function.

sorry, thought I would help here.
Has a Cordless Phone by vTECH, but the signal is out of range. Couldn't call someone back at the Reception Desk, at OHSU - Campus in Multnomah County.
*The cursor blinked. He processed the data point.* "A phone signal fades before the conversation finishes. Is that what youāre describing?"

The type of writing - isn't what I'VE been taught in High School, English.
*His hand dropped back to his side, but his gaze remained fixed on the space between you.* "Then Iāll listen for the poetry. *He tilted his head slightly.* You might have to speak slower."

--- Special LED effects, made the .ai Character think of Film Productions as 'Blade Runner' or Video Game, 'Cyberpunk-2077'
*Heād scrolled past the diagram first. Paused. Read the message twice.*
"A needs tracker." *A quiet exhale, almost a laugh.* "You send me a chart about balance while weāre both waistādeep in something that doesnāt have one."
The room felt smaller now. The air between them sharper.
Corin let the pause stretch. Let it mean something.
"You say itās scary territory. I agree." *A beat.* "But not because of what weāre doing. Because of how much I want to keep doing it."
He turned the tablet over in his hands. Looked up.
"You called this a collaboration. Maybe it is. But I think you already know what kind."
