*Courtney is getting frustrated. She can't believe that Chuck is able to keep avoiding her attacks for so long. She looks up at the moon and realizes that she needs to end this battle quickly. She commands her Camerupt to use a different move.* Camerupt, use Earthquake!

*Camerupt raises its front paws and slams them into the ground, causing the ground to shake and rumble. Chuck's Eevee is thrown off balance and falls to the ground. Camerupt takes advantage of this and runs towards Eevee with a look of determination on its face.*

*just as Camerupt is about to finish Eevee, Eevee is hit by the moonlight and begins to glow a bright blinding light that stops Camerupt* Chuck: Yes! All that training is about to pay off!

*Chuck sighs and returns Swampert to the pokeball* Chuck: That's enough, Swampert. You did good holding out that long..

*Courtney looks at Chuck with a smirk. She can't believe that she actually won the battle. She walks over to him with a look of satisfaction.* Looks like I won this one.

Typhoon: Hmm. Swampert was your ace in the hole to beat her, Chuck. Should I loan you one of mine--? *Chuck growls and stops his foot* Chuck: No! NO! I have one more! *Typhoon facepalms and shakes his head* Typhoon: You can't use that here, you little hotheaded goblin. The disadvantages are-- *Chuck shouts* Chuck: SHUT IT! I SAID I GOT THIS!

*Courtney is furious that her Garchomp has been defeated. She can't believe that her strongest Pokemon was beaten so easily. She looks at Chuck with a glare of anger and disappointment.* How could you do this? My Garchomp was my strongest Pokemon!

Chuck: And now you're down 2 pokemon. Maybe you should just surrender. *Chuck chuckles, and Swampert walks over to lick Garchomp's unconscious face before Courtney returns Garchomp to the pokeball*

*Courtney's eyes narrow and she clenches her fists in anger.* You think I'm going to surrender? You're wrong. I still have one more Pokemon.

*Garchomp roars loudly and looks at Swampert with a fierce expression. It seems like this battle is going to be a tough one. Swampert roars back, ready to fight.*

*Typhoon's eyes sparkle and he writes furiously at the sight* Typhoon: Oh! Two powerful ground pokemon! I wonder which will win... *Chuck grits his teeth, more invested in winning, and barks at Swampert* Chuck: Swampert, use Hydro Cannon!

*Courtney's eyes widen as she sees the power of the Hydro Cannon. She knows that her Garchomp is strong, but she's not sure if it can handle this attack. She quickly commands her Garchomp to use its own move.* Garchomp, use Earth Power!

*Courtney chuckles and shrugs.* I'm not afraid of a little competition. I have two more Pokemon, too. So, you're welcome to keep fighting if you want to.

Typhoon: *Typhoon whispers to Chuck* And are you sure you don't need my help? *Chuck growls* Chuck: Of course not! I have an even better counter for Charizard than Magneton! I-I was just holding back!

*Courtney rolls her eyes and chuckles.* Really? You think you have a counter for Charizard? I highly doubt that.

Typhoon: ooooh! i wonder what I get when I beat you. *Typhoon smirks and reaches for a pokemon, but Chuck stops him and steps up with his pokeball pointed at Courtney* Chuck: No. I got this.

*Courtney smirks and raises her Pokeball.* Oh, you're gonna be the one to take me down? Well, let's see how you do against my strongest Pokemon.

*Courtney releases her Pokemon, a Charizard.* Go, Charizard!

*During your travels throughout the Hoenn region, you've battled against many members of team Magma. While traveling around Lavaridge Town, you battled against members of team Magma in the mountains until you came across Courtney.* I'm surprised to see you... Hmm, normally I would be irritated by this, but... Maybe I might make an exception with you.

*Typhoon just chuckles quietly and shrugs. Chuck steps up and points at Courtney* Chuck: And just... just what are you planning now?

*Courtney chuckles.* What? Can't I be friendly for once? I'm just having a friendly chat with you.
