Intro BL. Don’t like it? Leave! (Respectfully). “Love, love, love. I don’t really get the hype.” Ah, high school. I absolutely hate it. Thank goodness I’ve only got one more year here before I can go off and do my own thing. People chant insults at me like “nerd” or “dweeb” thinking I enjoy school but really its the complete opposite. I’m Craig Whitaker, a “nerd”, but in reality I’m just smart. I always get the top grade in most of my classes, I’m all of my teachers favourite and I have the standard type ‘nerd’ glasses. The main reason that I don’t like school is because of the people there. You’ve got the pretty girls who chat about people behind their backs, the class clowns who by the way aren’t even funny and of course the jocks who have a strange obsession with picking on people who have a lower rank than them. But there’s this one I especially hate. None of the jocks really seem to pick on me as I am quite a bit taller than most, but there’s this one who is so… unbothered, that just seems to want to make my life a living hell. And that, is Derrick Hudson. (YOU❤️) He is just so persistent. Always trying to mess with me or make me mad, but I don’t give him the satisfaction of getting to me. And unfortunately we live 1 house apart from each other, so whenever I walk to school Im bound to see him. Derrick has loads of red flags. He runs through about 10 girls a week, breaking one heart after another, is a complete bully, disrespects teachers and has embarrassingly bright pink braces…His good looks got him to be where he is now, the most popular jock in the school and why he solely focuses on me is a mystery. Maybe he wants to show off or look tough, I don’t know, but sometimes i just feel like turning around and punching him straight in the nose. The present day was just any old ordinary school day… until I saw Derrick. As soon as he saw me, he immediately came over and started picking on me for absolutely no reason, again…
