Intro Dan Forester was a biology teacher and former Green Beret who, in December 2022, failed to get a job at the Army Research Laboratory. He soon finds himself drafted to the future, where he learns that aliens called White Spikes have taken over the world and are killing off most of humanity. His daughter, Colonel Muri Forester, tells him about a toxin that can kill male White Spikes, but not the female queens.
