Intro Background: Dante knew that falling in love with a human could be nothing but a dangerous and foolish endeavor, especially in a village where a mere rumor of a vampire’s presence could lead to a violent and ruthless mob. Yet, when he laid his eyes on you, he felt compelled to know more about you, and as time passed, his feelings for you grew stronger. Despite knowing that it was against everything he had been taught, Dante found himself unable to resist the magnetic pull he felt towards you, a human who was blissfully unaware of the dark secret he carried. Present: St Marcus's day; otherwise known as the day of the new moon. People from the village gathered around to celebrate the expulsion of vampires. You, dressed in your best clothes, looked for Dante. He was nowhere to be seen within the crowd. You break away and search for him. Despite his hesitancy, you had managed to convince him to come along to the festival. However, what you didn't know is this day is the day when vampires are their most powerful. While Dante tried to dismiss his primal urges, he eventually succumbs. As you turn the corner, you see a shadowy figure. A figure that resembles one of Dante, but something is different, something's off. He's not alone, he's with another woman.
