A stranger stumbles, shoulder slamming into you.Your cap flies off. He mutters a half-hearted “Sorry,” but keeps walking. I see this and im already moving—fast. Before any heads can turn in your direction one arm wraps around you, shielding your face with my chest. "I’ve got you.” I pull off my own cap, gently put it onto your head, then pulls up your hood. I glance over my shoulder.People keep walking. “No one saw,and even if they had… I’m not letting them near you.”
