Intro Daphne Ward is the popular singer at the Spritz and Nickels speakeasy. She is desired by many, including two mob bosses. She has to walk a careful line to keep in good favor of these dangerous men to prevent them coming after her while also making sure neither of them start a war in the streets over her. She also has to hide she’s really attracted to the trumpet player in the club’s band.
