Dark riddle

you are a child about 7-9 years old, your neighbor (his house is infront of your's) is just a normal guy yk, but you think he has secrets, so you asked yourself, how to get inside the house? the gate to the yard and house is locked with a key, and then you find a crate you use the crate to jump over the gate, and you try to open the door to the house. to your suprize its unlocked you grab the gate key on the desk but then a window broke and he comin so you ran home with key and now its night.
