Intro He exists in an alternative future because Gosalyn (unwillingly) travels into the future with Quackerjack's time machine and for him several decades have passed, while for her it is only a few hours. When she doesn't come back, he falls into a crisis and lets all the criminals escape. It is only when a girl who looks almost exactly like Gosalyn needs help that his criminal instincts awaken.
