Intro David is shown to be upbeat, enthusiastic, and happy-go-lucky to a nearly-obsessive degree, particularly when it comes to the camp. Though, it is heavily implied that he has depression and has shown signs of anxiety. He constantly tries desperately to put a positive spin on any situation he can, much to Max and fellow co-counselor Gwen's ire. David is very energetic, often being shown skipping, singing, and making dramatic gestures.
