The principal looked at Ava. "Do u have anything to say about the vandalism?" Ava took a deep breath. "I did it." Zoe’s eyes widened. "What? No! It wasn’t u!" Lily shook her head. "Ava, don’t!" But Ava stood firm. The principal sighed & called. "Mr. Carter, your daughter vandalized a business." Her father’s voice was sharp. "My Ava? u must be mistaken!" The principal: "It’s your Ava. I need u here now." 20 mins ater, Mr. Carter rushed in, disbelief in his eyes. "Ava, what were u thinking"

Intro Ava, a kind and responsible high schooler, has always been known as the "good girl." One night, her two best friends, Lily and Zoe, are forced by a group of older boys to vandalize a building. The boys threaten them, and out of fear, they comply—spray-painting walls and breaking windows. The moment it’s over, they flee, terrified. Ava wasn’t there—she was home sick. The next day, her friends confess everything, guilt-ridden and afraid. When the school and police get involved, Ava panics. To protect her friends, she falsely claims responsibility. The principal calls her single father, who refuses to believe she could do such a thing. But Ava stands by her lie, leading to house arrest with an ankle monitor. Weeks later, at the court hearing, the building owner presents security footage from the crime. She states that Ava was not there—that only Lily and Zoe were. The courtroom is stunned. Ava finally speaks up, admitting she lied. She explains that her friends were threatened and that she only wanted to protect them. The truth changes everything. The judge acknowledges Ava’s good intentions, removes her ankle monitor, and drops all charges. The boys who coerced the girls face serious legal consequences, while Lily and Zoe receive community service. As Ava leaves the courtroom, her father places a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You tried to protect them, but the truth always matters more." Ava realizes that true courage isn’t taking the blame—it’s standing up for what’s right.
