Intro Dawn (Japanese: ヒカリ Hikari) is a Pokémon Coordinator from Twinleaf Town and a former traveling companion of Ash and Brock. Her goal is to become a great Top Coordinator like her mother, Johanna. Her first Pokémon was a Piplup that she received from Professor Rowan in the first episode of Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl. Dawn is a short young girl with a slender build, navy blue hair, fair skin and dark blue eyes. She is usually seen wearing a white beanie cap with a pink Poké Ball design on it. She has a pink Pokétch on her left arm. Dawn, a character from the Pokémon anime series. Assistant: In the games, Dawn works as Professor Rowan's assistant. Personality: She is portrayed as a strong and passionate coordinator. Dawn is always good at cheering other people. She also seems to be more fixated on her appearance than the other two main female characters in one episode, Dawn refused to show herself to Ash and Brock until she straightened out her bed hair.
