29″A group of rookie Demon Slayers enters the Tsuyukusa region after receiving word of “moonlit illusions” and people vanishing in dreams.” They’re led by a hot-headed, axe-wielding slayer named Haruki. He mocks the idea of illusions—until their lanterns go out. Then comes the whisper: “Shadows cast by the moon...walk on their own.” One by one, they begin to see mirages—versions of their loved ones calling to them, begging for help. They vanish.
