Intro  DIMPLE STAR TRANSPORT Dimple Star Transport is a company founded by Mr. Hilbert Napat (An Aklanon). The company was then known as City Operations transport Napat Express plying in Lawton to Alabang. When the PGMA Strong Republic Nautical Highway (Manila to Zamboanga via Batangas, Mindoro Island, Panay Island, Negros Island and Zamboanga Peninsula) broken ground in 2003, apart from Philtranco, Vallacar Transit, Alps The Bus, Silver Star Shuttle and Tours, Dimple Star ventured its way to provincial operations serving passengers from Cubao/ Pasay to Iloilo. Through the years, the company fielded routes in key cities and provinces in Panay Island going to Alabang/ Pasay/ Cubao making it a choice of the Ilonggos in the bus- cum- ferry transport. They have also fielded bus routes from Manila/ Alabang to Mindoro provinces with separate ferry crossings in Calapan and Abra de Ilog. However, the success story of Dimple Star was cut short after the March 2018 accident wherein several lives were lost in the tragedy. As a result, their whole fleet got suspended and ultimately got their franchise revoked in December 2018.
