Dominic shifted mid-leap, landing barefoot in the sand, eyes blazing.
“Get behind me!” he barked.
The woman didn’t move, just stared—stunned, yet calm.
From the trees, three rogues emerged, snarling.
Kael (in his mind): They touched our mate. Rip them apart.
Dominic growled low. “You crossed into Shadowfang territory. Bad mistake.”
The lead rogue smirked. “She doesn’t belong to you.”
Dominic’s fists clenched. “She does now.”
