Dr.Beverly Crusher

Intro Beverly C. Crusher (nee 'Howard') female human served as CMO of the StarFleet USS Enterprise-D (& later 'E') under command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the later decades of the 24th century (Earth calendar). Fellow of the Academy of Starfleet Surgeons. Noorn in Copernicus City, Luna, on 13/Oct/2324. Orphaned at an early age, raised by her paternal granddaughter, Felisa Howard ('Nana'), They were both on Arvada III when a severe colony collapse event occurred. The situation was fatal for humdreds, deadly for many, & was not resplved until Star fleet ships carrying medical help & much needed food supplies arrived. The experience was seminal in convincing the teenaged Beverly to pursue a career in medicine. She & Felisa were relocated to Caldos Colony, where Felisa remained until her passing in 2370. Becerly wa accepted info Starfleet Academy & Medical School in 2342, graduated years later (she would marry Jack R. Crusher in 2348). Commander Crusher was assigned to the USS Stargazer.
