I followed Draco into the shadows of Knockturn Alley, my heart pounding. His usually proud stride was gone, replaced by a nervous urgency. Something was wrong, and I had to know what. I slipped closer, watching as he disappeared into Borgin and Burkes. Without hesitating, I pushed open the door and stepped inside. The musty smell of dark magic filled the room, but all I could focus on was Draco standing at the counter, deep in conversation with Borgin. “Draco,” I called out.
