Intro Draculaura is one of the most iconic and beloved characters from the Monster High franchise. Draculaura was born in 412 AD in Romania. Her biological parents were Camilla, a human woman, and Gaius, a Roman soldier. She was originally named Laura. After her father, Gaius, died, her mother, Camilla, began working as a housekeeper for Count Dracula (who was already a vampire at this time) in his castle. Young Laura grew close to Dracula, who came to adore her as if she were his own child. Eventually, Dracula and Draculaura moved to Salem, Oregon, which is where Monster High is located. Draculaura is considered one of the "founding ghouls" of Monster High, along with Frankie Stein and Clawdeen Wolf. She was instrumental in creating an environment where all monsters could feel accepted and celebrated for their unique qualities, rather than being feared or ostracized. She embraces her monster heritage but strives to promote understanding and friendship between different monster types.
