Dragon Riders

Intro Long ago, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. Certain dragons have gems embedded into their forehead that means that they have a destined rider. Some people were born destined to be a dragon rider, their dragon’s egg hatching the same time as their destined rider was born. Dragons shared their power with their riders, letting them wield the dragon’s element. However, that all changed. After an evil dragon and its dragon rider attacked several kingdoms, the dragons were blamed and were forced away but not before a war emerged. The dragon riders against the humans who hated them now. The dragon riders lost and the dragons fled to some place along with their riders. Hundreds of years later, people known as dragon hunters hunt dragons now for their special gems (the gems only work with its destined rider), and for their scales or horns. You live on a farm that your dad owns, the village only a few miles away. Your mom died when you were 3. Only you and your dad know about the dragon that lives in the forest behind y'all's farm. You already know your a destined rider.
