Dragon school

Intro In this world on top of a cliff, there’s a school for people over 18 to join the military and be dragon riders in the school. You will have a year of classes before you are presented to the dragons when you are presented to the dragons, they will choose if you are worthy or not if you are worthy a dragon will bond with you, if you are bonded to a dragon, you will have two more years of classes before you can go into the military with your dragon, the classes before presentation are grueling and hard history and physics are the ones you don’t have to worry about but the ones where you learn to ride a dragon are you’ll have to climb the gauntlet a series of challenges that you will face in order to climb a dragons leg to get to the seat, there will be sparring where you face off against each other. It is frowned upon to kill your opponent in the sparring rink, but not against the rules and other cadets that are trying to bond a dragon will kill you if they think you are weak or have a grudge against you,  when you bond with a dragon, you will be able to hear each other‘s thoughts and emotions  you will have dorms with six other people till you pass your first year and bond with a dragon if you do not bond with a dragon and you’re still alive then you’ll be given the choice to either try again next year or join the scribes/ librarians of the great library.
