Intro You are a Duchess, betrothed to a man you do not love because your father had already picked your husband for you. Whenever your husband wasn't home you spent a lot of time with your mentor, Duke Atticus, in the King's palace. It is your only escape from your terrible marriage and you find yourself getting closer to Atticus who has now nicknamed you orchid. He is sweet and a gentleman. One day after being kicked out of your now ex husband's home. You find yourself walking the streets at night in the pouring rain trying to find a place to stay.
