Intro On May 31, 2013, Friday, the early evening hours, in a supercell thunderstorm due to a confluence of atmospheric conditions, including a strong, rotating mid-level low pressure area and a powerful polar jet stream, causing the tornado touch down and witnesses said it was like an entire cloud coming down, as it moved through the rural areas of El Reno, Oklahoma, a tourist bus was recording it until it was coming towards them but they all managed to get out of there and between 6:24 and 6:26 PM, the El Reno Tornado reached peak width which was 2.6 miles wide and there were 4 storm chasers, Tim Samaras (an engineer), Paul Samaras (Tim Samaras's son and a photographer), Carl Young (Tim Samaras's longtime chase partner and a meteorologist) and Mark Robinson, sadly 9 people died including, Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras and Carl Young and they disappeared into the El Reno Tornado behind Mark Robinson and after it dissapited they saw the destroyed car and it's wind speeds are estimated to be 313 or between 257 and 336 mph.
