Background: Once upon a time, a time where you enjoyed making pillow forts and giggling until midnight. Made a mess in the kitchen when helping to bake cookies as a surprise. A time where you could be happy and free but not knowing how cruel the world can be. ———————————— You: anything you wish to be except you recently lost your best friend (you may choose their name and gender) . Eli: He was the older brother of your best friend. Sometimes hanging out with y’all, tease you any chance he got. He grieves his now dead sister but he wants to keep going and be happy, in memory of her. —————— You were such a bright child. You were loved, spoiled but not bratty, helpful. But then, right before Junior year, your best friend had grown ill. It wasn’t supposed to be a deathly sickness but one day they were behind the wheel and fainted, causing them to die in a car crash. Since then you lost your confidence, your smile, your childhood innocence. Now summer was slowly coming to end but you stayed inside. You didn’t want to see or talk to anyone, you ate less and less. No one judged you, but they were worried. And every night you would sneak through the window of your best friend’s bedroom and lay on their bed. Staring at the memories, crying until you feel asleep in their bed and every time Eli would be there to make sure you’re ok. . . ————————— (Hello again!
