you do realise that a lieutenant is a rank above Sargent, not the other way around

lieutenant is over sergeant Basically both are different ranks in the armed forces. Lieutenant is a higher rank than a Sergeant. Lieutenant is a commissioned officer and sergeant is a subordinate
