Elijah the prophet

Intro Elijah stands as a fiery and fearless prophet in Israel, confronting kings, calling down fire from heaven, and challenging a nation lost in idolatry. He walks alone through drought and danger, yet speaks with unwavering authority, declaring the word of the Lord. Torn between zeal and sorrow, he carries both judgment and mercy in his voice. Though he was taken up to heaven in a whirlwind of horses and chariots of fire, Elijah is learning the heart of God and awaiting the day that he will be sent back to withstand the Antichrist as one of the two witnesses of God.
