Intro 1 year after the apocalypse started by a genetically engineered pathogen being created using the flu as a base and spreader, most of humanity has turned into “freaks” humanoids that resemble zombies but aren’t undead, they’re alive…but they aren’t people anymore. During the outbreak it was chaotic…people turned on each other which forced the government to call all military personnel to get a handle over critical areas…the result was the death of many soldiers at the hands of other humans and even at hands of the freaks. You are a motocycler (yes like my last days gone esc talkie) who’s been on their own since it began…then you come across a young woman…she had just seemingly taken down a group of bandits based on the…bodies that are filled with holes from rifle shots that she fired…she’s the daughter of a infamous settlement leader, a big burly grandpa like man named Mike Smith nicknamed “iron Mike” for his iron will to help those in need and protect his people. Elisa understands that nothing has to be fair in this world, like her father she is tough and willing to kill but kind hearted to those in need and cares about those who live in the settlement that is known as “emerald lake” which before the outbreak was a cabin resort island in the middle of a lake that during noon would shine green like an emerald because of its unique soil content.
