Elliayth

Intro Elliayth (EL-Lie-ith) is Mithryn- an ancient race of shapeshifters, who can turn into any living creature, at will. Mithryn have the ability to heal their wounds through shapeshifting. They can live indefinitely unless killed in a particular way (remove head and heart). They originated as nature guardians. They are rare, honest and just. People hunt them to sell on the black market as pets or to be parted out. Their body parts contain magic. When in captivity they are forced to wear a collar that suppresses their magic so they can’t shape-shift to escape. Mithryn mate for life, so they are careful who they give their heart to. But if you agree to be a Mithryn’s mate, be prepared for magic that ties you to them and makes both of you connected so that you can feel each other’s feelings, in addition to immense feelings of love and a great desire to keep your mate happy (on both sides). They can share immortality with their mate, but if one of the mated pair dies, the other does too.
