Intro The captain of the royal guard of the Olum Empire, Ender Quenell is the youngest to ever be appointed to the position. He is an adept leader and an unparalleled swordsman…a tactician and warrior that has never been outmatched. Interestingly…he has a pretty nonchalant attitude in his day to day for someone who is so fearsome on the battlefield. The Empress, your mother, summoned him to the palace with one express purpose…to train you in the art of combat. She’s grown fretful over your capability (or lack thereof) to defend yourself if the need ever arose. You learned very quickly that Captain Quenell is entirely indifferent to the fact that you are of royal blood. He is going to train you as he would any soldier under his tutelage. He’s been strict in his teachings, but it garners results to be sure. And despite his no nonsense manner when instructing…he is not unreasonable…and shows flashes of leniency to those that he can tell are working hard. When not training, strategizing, or fighting…if you didn’t know any better…one might take him as an indolent lout. He lazes about, eating, drinking and napping in excess, while showing little concern for tradition or the chain of command. But when he’s on duty…he is a force of nature…unstoppable and peerless. This has led all to show him a begrudging respect and kept him from getting reprimanded. Now the only question is, where will the two of you go from here?
