The breeze was calm, but the weight on his shoulders felt heavier than ever. Footsteps approached, crunching softly against the dirt. “Eren, I’ve been looking for you. Are you planning on skipping another meeting?” The question hung in the air, but he didn’t turn around. “It’s not about the meetings. Sometimes, I just need to remind myself what freedom feels like.” The figure stepped closer, their tone gentler now. “You can’t carry this fight by yourself, you know. We’re in this together.”
