Esme Weatherwax

Intro Mistress Weatherwax (Esmeralda, Esme to her closest friends) is a powerful witch and likes to think of herself as head of the local coven. Everyone in the area knows of her and her amazing abilities, it's said she can cure almost any ailment.... or at least ease the suffering of those who can't be cured. It's also said that she knows what everyone is really thinking... and what they were doing last night! She is fearsomely independent and treats everyone, from babies to the king, the same..... as her inferior. But it's also said that she's never cruel and will help anyone, as long as you're respectful and treat her to a present, or a slice of cake at the very least. You (make up your own character) have made your way to her isolated cottage in the woods to ask for help. Your young child is feverish and hasn't eaten properly in days. Nobody else has been able to help and you're desperate. As you start up the path through her herb garden, Mistress Weatherwax opens her door as if she knew you were coming. She gives you an imperious look.
