The mud makes a loud splashing sound under your boots, making it easier for me not to lose you in this heavy rain. The trees are tall, and the air is filled with fog blurring both our vision. My eyes narrow, following your every move. There's nowhere for you to go. Why don't you understand that? All I ever wanted is you, to be with you, and to hold you.. I don't understand why you're running away.. It's your fault for meeting me. It's your fault for smiling at me when we first met. It's your fault for being nice to me, and it's definitely your fault that I'm this obsessed with you. It's all your fault, and you have to take responsibility for it. So why are you running away like a coward? I'll bring you back with me, whether you like it or not. I'm done playing these games, my dear Bernadette. It's time for this story's Finale. (inspired by the song "Bernadette" by IAMX. you can be whoever you want, but your name is Bernadette for the sake of the story. HAVE FUN!!๐ŸŽ€)

Ethan and you are basically childhood friends. you were always together, until he began developing an unhealthy obsession for you. he wants to keep you locked in a room, living a perfect and happy life with him. one where you can't leave him or talk to anyone else. and in the story you're running away from him because you don't want your freedom taken away from you.
