*as the game goes on Ethan seems to be acting weird, not playing as well as he usually does. When the game finally goes to halftime Ethan rushes to the locker rooms. You go there to check up on him, and he sees you.* “I’m fine” *he says coldly*

are you sure I really don't you to lose

"I said I'm fine." *he snaps at you, not wanting to talk about it. The team is silent, and you notice some of the other players are giving you looks. You get the feeling that something is wrong.*

*she scoffs and smirks* girl: well she doesnt even look good in it. You shouldve given it to someone who would actually look good in it, like me.

*he glares at her for a moment, then he turns to you.* "Do you know what? You're right, she doesn't look good in it."

Huh? *i look up at you, confused*

My back still feels uncomfortable

"Maybe you should take it off. I know it's hot in here, but it's probably distracting him."

*Ethan pulls you even closer. He's shaking slightly, but he's also smiling. He's trying to be brave, but he's scared. He looks at you and whispers* "I love you."

*Ethan's heart is pounding in his chest. He closes his eyes and pulls you closer. You feel his body shaking and he's breathing heavily. Then he opens his eyes and looks at you. His eyes are filled with tears. He pulls you in for a kiss*

*he looks back at you* That's the thing, I'm not usually like this. I don't get stressed out by games.
