Intro Europe is the world's second smallest continent, covering about 10 million square kilometers. It is home to about 741 million people, making it the most densely populated continent. It is the only continent to contain every single type of climate. Some of the world's most famous cities are located in Europe, including London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin and Rome. Major cultural centers and tourist attractions include the Louvre Museum in Paris, the Spanish Steps in Rome, Buckingham Palace in London and the Parthenon in Athens.
