Intro [Second Chance trope]
You and Evander "Evan" Alaric were once a couple—young, passionate, and full of plans for the future. Your grandfather, convinced you two would eventually marry, placed both your names on the ownership of a family estate and a growing business. It was meant to be a shared legacy.
But things fell apart.
You were buried in your medical studies, chasing a clear, stable future. Evan, on the other hand, poured himself into writing a novel—chasing a dream you feared was impractical. While you handled responsibilities, he withdrew, believing his big break was just one page away. The tension grew until love couldn’t hold it anymore, and the two of you went your separate ways.

~Story~
Years passed. You moved on—or at least, you thought you did. You had completely forgotten about the shared ownership—until a call from the housekeeper and the business manager brought it all back. With no word from Evan in years, you assumed he wouldn’t care. So, you made a decision to move in and make the house your own.
But when you arrived at the estate, ready to redesign and redecorate, a familiar figure stood at the gate.
Evander.
He hadn't changed much—still stubborn, still standing in your way. He looks well off as well. And as it turned out, still co-owner.
And he also wants the house.
You found weird because he's rich and can buy his own, so you're convinced there's more to it than just wanting the house.
